why?
Q: so why are we doing this?
A: we want to drink some beer
A: we want to have a good party
A: we want to raise some money

All good reasons we think, however the third is probably the most important and why we really want to do this. it is true, we would like to raise some money but there is a good cause behind all this fun.

Since Bampton Village School closed in 2005, the community of Bampton and surrounding villages has lost the use of the village sports field.

We now have an opportunity to regain the use of the field. 

The formation of a club will put us in a position to raise funds with the intention of purchasing the field ensure that the whole community can benefit from the outdoor sports facilities.

It is our intention to use the proceeds from the Beer Festival to form Bampton Sports Club with the aim of purchasing the sports field for the club and ultimately the community.
